I'm Old...............NOT!
Had my first "You're old" experience! I sit next to this 17 yr. old girl in my english class at college. We were having a discussion in a group one day and she was singing a song. I couldn't hear her that well (maybe because i'm old lol). I said to her "I don't know that song" and she responded back to me in her sweet voice "that's because you're old." Wow, what do I say to that one? I'm very young for the age of kids that I have, but to a 17 yr. old I guess I'm ancient!! If your wondering what I did, well I ignored her and kept talking to the group! HA! so there!! see if I acknowledge her-- nanny nanny pooo pooo! (ok, it was a little embarrassing!) I did feel a little betrayed because this is the second quarter we have sat by each other seeing that she nor I, have any friends in the class.
